The hydraulic leak from the high-pressure filter in the EDP line was due to puncturing of the separation member of the clogging indicator. Evidences suggest that due to abnormalities in assembly and/or functioning, the upper magnet had impacted on the membrane repeatedly resulting in deformation, flow and work hardening of the material. When the membrane became very thin, it got punctured due to development of radial cracks at the central region. The exact cause for abnormalities in the assembly/functioning needs to be established.
