Abstract
Propulsion Division in National Aerospace Laboratories, Bangalore undertake research and development activities for aerospace industries of high standard. Rotating, Heat transfer, Gas dynamics and combustion test facilities in propulsion division requires high standard safety measures and equipment to prevent human hazard and increase efficiency in R&D activities. A project work titled “Safety Measures in Propulsion Systems” was taken up to study the requirement of safety measures and their standards in propulsion system under Directorate of Distance education scheme. This seminar describes in detail an enhanced hazard analysis study carried out for propulsion division test facilities and standardization of safety rules for propulsion systems. The talk also deals with an effective personal productive equipment analysis.
