Full text not available from this repository.Abstract
This report presents the simulation study on field distribution in a dielectric rectangular cavity. The results include the field distribution for both isotropic source excitation and pyramidal horn antenna, placed at the center of one of the sidewalls of the cavity. The effect of the constitutive parameters of the wall material, angular separation between the rays launched, frequency of operation, propagation time and the directionality of the excitation source on the field build-up within the cavity is investigated.
