This paper presents a new theoretical approach for analysis of various parameters of PNP junction transistor for different modes of operations. Wide range of design flexibility and usefulness are demonstrated by current-voltage dynamic characteristics. Some basic design techniques are considered with the detailed performance characteristics such as gain, noise and sensitivity to operating voltage and current. Typical design value of load resistance and other data are presented. A comparison is made with conventional circuits and their shortcomings are pointed out.
