Abstract
In this paper a generalisation of the method of Regula Falsi to n variables is given for solving n nonlinear equations. This method is applied to compute the position of free boundary in an axisymmetric cavity flow. This problem, which is otherwise difficult, is found to be amenable to the method of generalised Regula Falsi.
