Abstract
Considering the importance of energy in the modern industrialised society, situation is becoming fast critical as, on one hand, the rate of energy consumption is rapidly increasing and on the other, the natural resource of conventional fuels are depleting very quickly. Many alternatives are being thought about including the use of unconventional fuels. Some investigations regarding use of methanol as an alternative fuel have been conducted. In this report these results are presented along with some practical considerations involved in the use of alternative fuels.
