The design, construction, and performance evaluation results of the ISRO- NAL 1100 cubic meter reverberation chamber acoustic test facility for the environmental acoustic testing of spacecraft and launch vehicles are discussed. Special features considered include the blowdown mode of air supply, a free standing concrete sliding door, and pneumatic door seals. The facility achieves a maximum overall sound pressure level of 157 dB within acceptable spatial and spectral variations.
