The electrical resistances of the C60 powder compacts have been measured as a function of temperature at various pressures in the range 6-13 kb. At each pressure, two well resolved signals (drop in resistance) are observed in the vicinity of the expected temperature of transition from simple cubic (sc) to face centred cubic (fcc) structure. The separation between the signals increases with increasing pressure. These observations support an earlier finding that the sc-fcc transition proceeds in two steps.
