Abstract
The measurement of elastic modulii solids liquids by ultrasonic techniques of is well established. The sophisticated ultrasonic pulse superposition technique, which is capable of high precision velocity measurements has been adopted in this laboratory for elastic constant studies of isotropic materials.13; The principle of the method and the experimental details of the set up are summarized in this article. The procedure has been illustrated with example of measurement on two glass system.
