Abstract

This note describes the redesign of the memory portion13; of the Digital Data Acquisition System (DD.,\S) of the NAL 4-ft.Trisonic Wind Tunnel, carried out by the 4-ft. Tunnel Electronics Group in association with the Electronics Division of the Laboratory.13; The DDAS performs basically the following functions (a)Acquisition of data, (b) Storing of the acquired data and (c) Read out cycle.13; The existing system was designed by Sarco Canada Ltd.,13; Toronto, Ontario. The system developed fault in the ferrite13; core memory module. The memory module was redesigned for reliable operation of the system by using solid state memory. The system with the solid state memory has been in successful operation since December 1974.
