Abstract

Calibration of the asymmetric probe (Yajnik amp; Gupta 1973) for measuring velocity and flow direction without aligning the probe in the flow direction is given. An approach to empirical representation of these curves is also described. Finally, an application of the calibration to a cascade wake is given and the results are compared with the nulling method.13; 13;
