Abstract
Scaling criteriato be fulfilled to ensure dynamic similarity between full-scale flight conditions and model tests for dynamic investigations are discuBsed highlighting the physical significance of some of the similarity parameters. Some practical considerations involved in fulfillment of scaling criteria are pointed out. Application of the scaling criteria is illustrated by a few examples on the design of models of a typical transport and fighter aircraft for a proposed wind tunnel experiment to demonstrate active ride control concept.
