Abstract
The design features and calibration graphs of two numbers three hole cylinderical combination probes are presented in this report. The probes were intended to be used by Mis BHEL,Corporate R amp; D,' Hyderabad on their steam turbine in conjunction with a traversing system capable of linear and rotational positicning of the probes. The 'null-reading' calibration. which gives the true static pressure as a function of the probe side hole pressure, was carried out over a subsonic Mach number range of x2264; 0.1 M x2264; 0.6.
