Abstract
Full potential equation for two and three dimensional transonic flow has been considered. Emphasis has been given to discuss various itertaive methods, for example, SLOB, ADI (AF2) and multigrid to solve the descretized finite difference equation in both conservative and nonconservative forms. Some results have been Shown for trasonic flow computation past airfoils and finite wings in body fitted ourvilinear co-ordinate system.
