Abstract
In the development of modern aircraft, the translation of control laws into reliable software which has to be executed in the target flight computer in realtime is complex engineering effort. The task of developing and validating high integrity FCS systems can only be achieved in practical time scales if adequate tools are availabe. This document highlights the need for a microcomputer development system with a link to host computer. A detailed specification of the system required for the above task is also given.
