Abstract

Limited field trials on a 1.5M x 1.5M cultivation area were13; conducted using porous tubes layout embeded in the soil bed. Ladies finger crop was cultivated by feeding the plants with water from a overhead tank and through the porous tubes. Due to monsoon weather, these experiments could be conducted indoor under partial sunlight conditions. Encouraging results were obtained.
