Abstract

The Base Flow Facility which is a blowdown type of wino tunnel has been designed and is being constructed for simulating afterbqpy'flows of aerospace vehicles during wind tunnel experiments. The facility has an axisynmetric variable supersonic nozzle to achieve different test Mach numters upto a maximum of 4.O and an enclosed free-jet type test section. The nozzle outerbony movement for obtaining required test Mach numhers and annular areas are computed from the inner 2nd outerbody contours, supplied by AMRD international Corporation, U.S.A. The Counter reading settings, for various test mach numbers are also computed and presented in this report.13; i
