Abstract
Navlgation in Indian Civil Aviation is outlined. Some of the Navigational Aids are described. A brief discussioron13; the N,avigational Systems used outside India is given. with articular emphasis on HYperbolic System of position13; fixing. Global positioning system which follows the principle of Hyperbolic System of position fixing is described with'special reference to its applicability in Indian Civil Aviation.
