Abstract
The Dialogue Program system DIVA (Dialog Program zur Versuchsdaten Analyse) was developed at Institute of Flight Mechanics, Braunschweig, and is running on IBM main frame computers of DLR. To analyse flight data on a mobile workstation such as a PC, as .a single user independant of host computer,an interactive dialogue program has been developed using FTN77/486 compiler and TECHPLOT graphics13; software. Initially, one of the eight branches of DIVA i.e., quot;Analysis of Time dependant Dataquot; has been transferred from main frame to PC. With this system the user can get the alphanumerical information pertaining to number of channels, list of time intervals and can:print the data from the standard data set, which must be resident in PC. As regards to the Graphic part of the system, the user can view the quick look plots for time histories of different channeels upto a maximum of 4 channels per, frame. And the generation of plots upto four diagrams, each of which with two channels, with automatical or user defined scaling is also possible in the graphics subpanels. Especially, the transfer of module for computing cross-spectra, frequency response, amp; coherence functions which is the heart of DIVA has been achieved amp; all the results amp; the dialogue program system is documented in the DLR report IB 111-93/09 dated 10.02.93. in summary, the first steps of the transfer of DIVA from the IBM main frame computer to PC are done.
