Abstract
Flosolver Mk3 is based on Intel 860 with a clock of 40MHz . The i 86O microprocessor is capable of performing one addition per clock cycle. The peak MFLOP rating for addition is 40. The sustained performance depends upon the effective use of quot;Cachequot; memory. This document discusses the issues related to the cache performance of the CPU card.13;
