Abstract
Research and developments on autonomous and remotely controlled Unmanned Aerial Vehicles (UAVs) have attained a high level of significance during the recent years both in civilian and military applications. An essential requirement to achieving the autonomous control design is to develop a suitable modeling & simulation platform. This paper presents a model based design frame work for various levels of simulation and the development of Hardware in the Loop Simulation for a mini UAV.
