Abstract

FEM has been used to analyze the structural integrity of the test rig for the proposed static test of tail rotor blade of MI-8 and MI-17 helicopters. The analysis is aimed to determine stresses, strains, deflections at various points of interest from failure point of view. The13; buckling analysis of the column was also carried out to determine the critical buckling load for the main column of the test rig.
