By simultaneous compressing of silver (Ag) and gold (Au) up to the pressure 150 GPa, the x ray patterns produced were investigated. The magnitudes of the ?t in both Au and Ag were estimated from the (hkl)-dependence of the lattice parameters. With pressure at 2 GPa in Ag and 0.5 Gpa in Au, the ?t was found to be increasing linearly at 150 GPa. The bulk modulus and its pressure derivative were computed for Ag using an equations of state (EoS) of Au.
