Abstract
Aircraft components like fatigue meter are subjected to dynamic loads in service. Fatigue meter should be able to withstand expected vibrations and also work without any malfunction. Hence, vibration qualification test is mandatory in the process of design and development of Fatigue meter. Fatigue meter has to be qualified as per TNAM 6150 under wide band random vibration endurance test. Random vibration as per TNAM 6150 was simulated and Fatigue meter was subjected for the above vibration and the system was observed to see any damage or malfunction of the equipment due to vibration. The observation proves Fatigue withstood random vibration level without any structural degradation.
