Abstract
Jute reinforced plastics (JRP) offer attractive propositions for cost-effective applications; but, severe limitations are imposed due to their low strength and modulus. Effective hybridization of JRP with stronger fibres, namely glass fibres, could ve the only possible solu tion to overcome this limitation
