Abstract

This report gives an outline of the Advanced Composite Technology Development Program (ACTDP) proposed to be carried out at National Aeronautical Laboratory, Bangalore over a period of three years. The ACTDP is essentially a preparatory program for undertaking indigenous design and development of Light Combat Aircraft (LCA) within the country with extensive use of advanced composite materials. The aim of ACDTP is to establish within National Aeronautical Laboratory, the design know-how and fabrication know-how for advanced composite materials as well as the necessary infrastructure in respect of fabrication facilities .
