Abstract
The wind speeds and directions have been monitored in the Chitradurga range of hills for periods of one year at 12 locations. 30 M tall masts have been employed using two levels of sensors at 10 and 30 M height respectively. Report gives the monthly summary, direction wise distribution, hourly averages at 10 and 30 M above ground level on a monthly basis. This report documents the data for Sogi B located at about 10 km North of Harapanahalli town for the period 1996 June-1997 March.
