Abstract
A flow incidence rate model has been developed to capture the large amplitude unsteady aerodynamic characteristics of delta wing aircraft. This paper uses the aerodynamic model developed for a delta wing aircraft with wing sweep close to 60 deg for dynamic analysis at high incidence. A comparison is made between the dynamics of the systems for quasi-steady, state-space and flow incidence rate aerodynamic models. The short period and single degree of freedom roll equations are used for comparison. The numerical continuation approach is used to study the system stability at high angles of attack.
