The helicopter met with an accident during the final approach towards helipad. A few components retrieved from the wreckage were sent to the laboratory for establishing the mode of failure. Examination revealed that the referred components got fractured/damaged under impact load. There were no evidences of delayed/progressive failure like fatigue or wear and tear.
