    Abstract

    This is a project proposal for the development of algorithm for the estimation of position and attitude of aircraft using INS / GPS' fusion. The main objective of the proposal is to demonstrate the possibility of quality measurement from low cost INS system with the aid of . GPS for aircraft navigation applications which otherwise required very expensive INS system. The' existing13; AHRS (Attitude Heading Reference System) and GPS receivers13; will be used in this project for the demonstration of the objectives.
