Abstract

A few components of a crashed helicopter were investigated. Examination revealed that the damages seen on these components are secondary in nature and would have occurred subsequent to the primary events leading to the accident. The ovality observed in the IGB and TGB bearing housings and the bearings does not appear to have any significance in the present context, and it did not have any role to play in the accident. A detailed analysis is presented in this report
