    Abstract

    This report deals with the validation of global nonlinear parametric models of13; F-16 from a simplified wind tunnel database, using multivariate orthogonal13; function in conjunction with least-squares regression technique and the Predicted13; Squared Error metric. Six DOF nonlinear simulations were carried out for13; validating the global models. Aircraft responses and the total aerodynamic force13; and moment coefficients were simulated using the longitudinal and lateral control13; inputs. A good agreement between the aircraft responses obtained from13; simulations using the wind tunnel aerodynamic database and the nonlinear13; global models for the aerodynamic force and moment coefficients was observed.
