Abstract
The report presents a 100 carrier braiding machine was shifted from Structures Division and its installation, commissioning was carried out in the filament winding bay of FRP division. Defective parts were replaced and the machine was successfully installed and commissioned for the development of novel and advanced performs. Initial studies were carried out to unravel the complexities associated with the braid angle, braider and mandrel results of the initial trail runs carried out on this machine.
