    Abstract

    This report highlights the Fabrication of PV2-GE Air Intake ducts for 1:7.645 and 1:4.405 scale LCA Kaveri Air Intake models undertaken at NAL for Aeronautical Development Agency (ADA), Bangalore. The modifications were carried out on the PVI-Kaveri/LCA (Navy) Air Intake Models which were necessiated due to certain changes in air intake configuration of PV series to suit GE Engine installation. The modifications included a) The design and fabrication of one pair each of 1:7.645 and 1:4.405 scale models of front duct modules as per PV2-GE air ntake duct configuration. b) Modifications of rear duct of 1:7.645 and 1:4.405 scale models. c) Modifications of forebody. The forebodies and front duct modules of both the models were inspected using Coordinate Measuring Machine (CMM). The models after assembly and painting were delivered to the sponsors.
