The material collected from the clogged filter element of AMAGB gearbox was analyzed. Compositional analysis carried out using Energy Dispersive X-ray (EDX) analyzer attached to the Scanning Electron Microscope (SEM) revealed that the material is predominantly rich in carbon (C), silicon (Si) and oxygen (O) with small quantities of magnesium (Mg), aluminium (Al), sulphur (S), calcium (Ca), iron (Fe) and cadmium (Cd). The laboratory test results are presented in this report.
