    Abstract

    An experimental program investigating the effects of convex surface curvature acting in combination with favorable pressure gradient was carried out as part of the PhD thesis of Mukind [2002]. The thesis contains the details of this work including all the experiments, analysis of data and computations. The essence of this research bringing out the effects of convex surface curvature on relaminarization is published recently in the Journal of Fluid Mechanics (Mukund er al [2006]). This report is the data supplement to the two publications and has all the required information for anyone attempting to model and compute these boundary layer flows. The report contains the essential details of the experimental setup including the details of the pressure generators used, and the experimental data in tabulated form for the three relaminarizing flows on the convex surface and one on a flat plate.
