    Abstract

    Abstract The design data on heat transfer and friction factor for compact heat exchangers in two phase flows are not available in open literature. These data’s need to be generated for compact plate fin heat exchangers through a dedicated vapour cycle test rig for use in VCS of an aircraft system. This report describes the design features of vapour compression refrigeration test rig and its accessories. This report was prepared in consultation with ADA Scientists and used to float the general tender for errection and commissioning of the test facility at Propulsion Division, NAL.
