    Abstract

    In this report a new Attack agent Bayesian network for Situation Assessment in Beyond Visual Range (BVR) combat is developed based on the inputs from the pilots from ASTE, Bangalore (more details on the system are provided in previous project document PD FC 0706). The Conditional Probability Tables (CPTs) which are filled by the pilots are also provided. The capability of Attack agent Bayesian network has been demonstrated by simulating a typical airto- air combat scenario. The measures of uncertainty viz. Effect of evidence, Gain in belief update, Sensor effectiveness for Bayesian network are presented along with the results of simulation. Usage of MATLAB based Bayes Net Toolbox (BNT) is also presented.
