Abstract

This document furnishes the calibration procedure adopted to test some of the Pitot static probes used by HAL, Koraput in their gas turbine engine test beds to measure the flow velocities at the intake of the engine. Twenty eight Pitot static probes were sent to NAL for calibration and certification. These probes were calibrated in the 254mm X 102mm induction wind tunnel at NAL. The probes were calibrated over a range of 0.1M to 0.4M.
