Abstract

The aim of the project is to study the physics of the flow using commercial CFD code, a) In the casing treatment which affects efficiency and stall margin in the transonic axial flow compressor and optimize the casing treatment geometry for the same compressor. b) Investigating the unsteady flow in the transonic axial flow compressor including the effect of interaction between the fixed and rotating blade rows in turbo machines.
