Abstract
Determination of aircraft performance parameters is an important step in the development and evaluation of modern aircraft. The drag polar estimation of the aircraft covering its full flight envelope was usually performed by x201C;aircraft acceleration methodsx201D; such as the total energy method for steady state flight and accelerometer method for dynamic maneouver quality. In this paper we describe various special dynamic maneouvers which can be used to extract these parameters to be used for estimation of aircraft performance.
