Narasimha, R (1991) Recent advances in the dynamics of the transition zone. In: International Symposium on Air Breathing Engines, 1-6 Sep 1991, Nottingham, England.Full text not available from this repository.
A small group has been working at the Indian Institute of Science and National Aeronautical Laboratory at Bangalore for many years on an investigation of the effects of pressure gradient and flow convergence, among other parameters. The material presented here is confined to the transition zone in boundary layers. The basic premise in much of this work is that the key variable in the transition zone is the intermittency gamma, so that an understanding of the gamma distribution can provide considerable insight into the dynamics of the zone itself.
