Srivastava, Meenu and William Grips, VK and Rajam, KS (2005) Electrodeposition of Ni-Co alloys from sulphamate bath. In: 59th Annual Technical Meeting of the Indian Institute of Metals, 15-16 Nov 2005, Chennai, India.

Electrodeposited nickel is being employed in various fields like aerospace, communications, electronics and automotive industries. Co-deposition of cobalt with nickel increases the hot hardness by strengthening the deposit without the need for sulphur containing additives, which tend to induce embrittlement on heat treatment.Hence, an attempt has been made to study the same and correlate it with the microhardness. The electrochemical behaviour of these coatings has also been studied.
