The digital analyser developed by the authors processes analogue signals on line and in real time and presents the results on an oscilloscope or on X-Y recorder. This instrument can compute the auto correlation function of one input signal, the cross correlation function between two signals, and the wave shape of a signal buried in noise. Design details, specification of the instrument, and the various applications are briefly mentioned.
