Abstract
This note describes closed and open loop control systems using electrical, electronic and hydraulic components for the control of the pressure regulating valves in Slowdown wind tunnels. The system described here in is based on commercially available components of established reliability and is representative of current trends in control system design. A comparative statement of existing valve control systems in various other wind tunnel establishments is shown in Appendix 11.
