Abstract
The Digital Event Recorder developed in the laboratory is designed to store short duration transients and reproduce them when desired. The instrument features13; possibilities for automatic internal or external control of13; triggering and independent selection of write (or13; record) and send (play--hack) sampling rates. This instrument is thus ideally suited for use in systems for monitoring, frequency analysis of shocks, transients, low frequency signals' and as a dely line. The disadvantages of wow and flutter which is common in electromechanical recorders' are avoided by using D, as this is completely an frequency signal
