Abstract
The availability of low cost high performance digital13; computationa1 chips have made digital process controllers more advantageous compared to the conventional analog controllers. This report summaries the modalities of realizing a digital-controller based on an Intel 8085 Microprocessor, to control an electro hydraulic position control system algorithm with variable saturation limits have been mechanised in the software.Standard PI control13; In order t o improve the computational speed and accuracy of the controller, an LSI NOS floating point airthmetic processor unit (Am) has also been incorporated, Its power, in computing complex power functions in real time for13; cascade wind tunnel control applications is demonstrated.
