Tewari, SK (1978) An evaluation of the strategy of low cost horizontal axis windmills. In: Proceedings of the International Solar Energy Congress on Sun: Mankind's future source of energy, 16-21 Jan 1978, New Delhi, India.Full text not available from this repository.
An attempt is made to assess the relative cost effectiveness of three windmill designs with efficiencies above 5 percent. Two of the versions are low-cost technology windmills constructed from locally available materials. The third is an all-metal windmill of factory production. The economics of these windmills are discussed.
