Abstract
An instrumentation system for the measurement of high temperatures using a fluidic sensor, its calibration and application is discussed in this report.Experimental investigations using this instrumentation set-up for the detection of simulated reheat on/off in after burned and their results are presented. The results indicate that reheat on/off sensor based on fluidic oscillator can be built by incorporating certain improvements in electronic logic design so as to monitor rate of rise and fall in temperature.
