Abstract
The note describe a portable transistorized single channel strain indicator developed to measure static and dynamic strains upto +_ 1000 micro strains with an overall accuracy of +_ 1 percent.The strain is measurable directly on a panel meter,calibrated in microstrains. Analgue signal output is made available for recording purpose
